                The Tragedy of Hamlet
The king and the queen were worried that Laertes would be angry with them. An officer ran into the palace and said quickly, "Rebels defeated our guards and were coming to the palace. The rebels shouted that Laertes will be their king." The king and queen shivered with fear. When they were ready to escape, Laertes rushed in. He did not mean to become the king. He just heard that his father was murdered. So he came back secretly from France and planed to revenge his father's death. Looking at the king and the queen, He saw their fear and trembling, "You wicked king, give my father back." At that moment, Ophelia broke in, singing without tune. Although she had lost her mind, it seemed she said something to her brother. Laertes was very sad as he looked upon his once beautiful sister. And the fire of revenge burnt in his heart.
The malicious king pretended to be sorry and concerned. He said, "My dear Laertes, can't you tell your friends from your enemies? Hamlet killed your father. Besides, that he wanted to kill me. Your sister is mad because of him. I hope that you would become friends with us to fight our enemy." Laertes believed what the king said. He still felt confused and asked, "Hamlet is such a bad person, and is mad without any power to fight back. Why don't you kill him?" The king knew that Laertes was deceived, so he said, "It is easy to kill him. But the queen will be very sad if I do. Besides, the people will not allow me to kill their prince." Laertes lost control and yelled loudly, "Can my father be killed by him without pay? Can my sister be mad without pay? If you did not take action, I will kill him myself, I care not what the people think nor the queen."
